Just wanted to let you know about a fun experience we've had recently at La Mata. On Wednesdays (market day) and at the end of the market (beach front) there is a hotel. On the outside patio of the hotel "Alfies dock" is located. This consists of un upturned boat grilling sardines and large gambas. along with this there is a guy playing keyboard, singing and entertaining, he provides something for every nationality and its a great atmosphere. It gets very busy and if your there after 11.30 am your unlikely to get a seat.The hotel also offers a varied menu but the fresh fish from "Alfies dock" seems very popular. We've been twice and had a great time. Might be something you want to try or direct your guests to. Have fun !!!

I am the Vice Chairperson of the Ladies Club at the Hillside Bar and I will soon highlight on the events calendar all the forthcoming events which we have coming up. VILLA ROYAL - PROPERTY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE SERVICE
Hi All
I wanted to let you all know about this terrific service. We are currently using this family run service and they have been a god send on many levels including cleaning - laundry - emergency contact - key holding - building works - pool maintenance - grocery shopping, infact just about everything we could need for ourselves and our guests (as non resident property owners on Quesada). They have given us so much peace of mind and nothing is too much trouble for them. They don't do this for bit of pocket money hence they are very reliable.
Spanish and English speaking they have even helped us with telephone installation, T.V Electricity account, you name it.
I have been a property owner/renter on Quesada for 7 years now so I have a lot of experience in the pitfalls of villa management for the non resident.
Worth their weight in gold this family and reasonably priced, I highly recommend their service especially if your sick of being ripped off by not so reliable services

Has anyone else been to El Mundo? Whats it like, is the food nice and does it have an atmosphere, plus what are the prices like? I believe they have different kinds of entertainment, has anybody been there and have any comments? Thanks
We went to the Thursday Curry Night a couple of months ago and we thoroughly enjoyed the variety of different types of currys. The nice thing about it was you could go up as many times as you liked and fill up. 3 courses all for 8.95, which for us was fantastic value for money and we will be going back again.

Fantastic result for the boys, came out like a speed train, controlled the game and could have won it by many more. Truly wonderful feeling for all you United fans out there. 1 more point and the the 19th title is ours. Well done to everyone connected to Man United.
Hillside Sports Centre
Hi All
Just wanted to let you know that we have just got home from an excellent evening at Hillside Sports Centre on La Marina urbanisation. We thought there were going to be 6 of us tonight on our table, but extra friends arrived and in total there were 12 of us - a brilliant night was had by all. The venue was absolutely packed. Thank's everyone for such a great fun night !!! xxx
